Thanks to its warm sound, low maintenance, and flawless intonation, the NUB310 is a perfect instrument for a beginner and a quality addition to any ukulele collection. **Prior to 2022, the NUB310 was shipped with reentrant GCEA strings; as of 2022, the NUB310 ships with linear DGBE strings. Some dealers may have new "old" models, and tuning linear DGBE strings to reentrant GCEA tuning will cause DGBE strings to break. If your NUB310 has all nylon strings (no wound strings), you should tune the instrument to reentrant GCEA; if there are metal wound strings on your NUB310, it should be tuned to linear DGBE.
